Since
its introduction in North America, Nissan's GT-R has been heralded as
the best supercar value for the money. With a conservatively rated
485-bhp twin-turbo V-6, all-wheel drive and 0-60 times in the 3-second
range, it simply has no competition at its price point. For 2011,
you'll be glad to know that Nissan hasn't dumbed down the GT-R, but has
simplified the line by paring it down to one model: the GT-R Premium.
Largely unchanged from last year's car, the GT-R Premium gets darker
wheel center caps, rear brake cooling ducts and a retuned suspension
for greater ride comfort. Auto on/off headlights and speed-sensitive
windshield wipers, along with USB iPod interface and streaming audio
via Bluetooth are now standard.
